SNA Wellness

One of the best ways to illustrate the benefits of healthy nutrition and exercise is by providing positive adult role models. We hope to achieve this through our collaboration with the School Nutrition Association (SNA). SNA members, who serve students daily in school lunchrooms and cafeterias, are being encouraged to add healthy habits to their lives, and to lead our children “by active example.” PepsiCo’s Smart Spot products sponsor, an Interactive Wellness System (IWS) Web site, designed specifically for SNA members. Members have free, unlimited access to the IWS site. The IWS Web site will provide SNA members with the tools and information they need to:

• Assess health risks
• Improve healthy behaviors
• Make healthy food choices
• Track energy expenditure
• Make informed health choices

SNA members will also be invited to participate in various wellness challenges over the course of the year, including:

• The Get Up & Go Challenge
• The Fruit and Veggie Challenge
