Averaging 2,000,000 visitor sessions and 50,000 unique visitors a month from its global audience the site has also earned a number of prestigious honors and awards, including being named one of the top 36 curriculum Web sites on the Internet from the magazine District Administration. PE Central has been available on the Web since August 1996 and continues to grow in content and reach. Dr. George Graham, Professor-department of Kinesiology, Pennsylvania State University, is the founder of PE Central and continues to serve as the Senior Advisor for PE Central.
